Industry Warehouse Studio (IWS) v. 3.2, which makes it easier for
property & casualty insurance and telecommunications companies to

organizations and geography. Version 3.2 facilitates this with sample
profitability analysis application models and reports, industry-test
data, and documentation so businesses can accelerate access to and analysis
of their own data.
IWS is the foundation for application vendors and system integrators to
jump-start the design, development, and implementation phases of business
intelligence applications. Version 3.2 extends the capabilities for
Business Performance Analysis to the property and casualty insurance and
telecommunications sectors, while continuing to provide a unique
foundation for integration of CRM analysis for all industries.
"Planned future releases of IWS will extend support for integrated
profitability analysis to other industries," said Bob McCarthy,
director of product management for IWS. "This version of IWS is
further proof of the Sybase Business Intelligence commitment to broaden
and deepen the business value of IWS while continuing to enhance the
integrated infrastructure upon which our Partners build their Integrated
Intelligence Applications."
In addition to improving the speed in which profitability is analyzed,
version 3.2 integrates with Sybase Adaptive Server IQ-Multiplex, a relational
database for Web-based data warehousing. Version 3.2 also includes a new
MetaData Manager feature that extends support to include multidimensional
data structures, the development multidimensional views as Info Cubes
that may be created dynamically for an entire subject area or for
selected information through point and click. In addition support for
metadata exports has been extended to support Business Objects 5.x,
Cognos 6.x, and MicroStrategy 7.x.
Eric Miles, vice president and general manager of the Sybase Business
Intelligence division, added, "Industry Warehouse Studio cuts down

it takes to implement an analytical CRM solution. Implementation also
