Financial Fusion Ranked Number One by Celent Communications for Internet Banking Solution

Report on US Vendors Ranks Financial Fusion Above the Competition for Large Financial Institutions

BOSTON, Mass.-April 02, 2001 - Financial Fusion, Inc., announced today that Celent Communications has ranked Financial Fusion as the number one provider of online banking solutions for large financial institutions with assets greater than $10 billion. The report, "Ranking the US Vendors of Internet Banking Solutions", published on March 20, 2001, provides an analysis of Internet banking solutions from eleven vendors.

Last year, this report predicted that Financial Fusion would make "significant inroads" and was "poised for success in 2000." Factors that contributed to this year's number one ranking include, tier-one customer acquisition, revenue growth and a solution that offered "the most fully integrated and advanced applications on the market." Additionally, the Celent report describes the benefits of the Financial Fusion Server, the platform for the Financial Fusion Consumer e-Finance Suite and the Business e-Finance Suite as "an open solution that can accommodate future delivery channels protocols, and standards." Financial Fusion clients interviewed by Celent agreed, "that the platform will meet their needs for several years to come."

"We awarded Financial Fusion the number one ranking due to both their technology and their considerable progress in penetrating the top tier of the banking market in the past year," said Octavio Marenzi, president, Celent Communications. "The solution is well-suited to enable financial institutions to integrate new value-added products and services as well as enhance existing applications without requiring another major infrastructure investment. The core technology is both open and flexible."

"This clearly is a huge success for Financial Fusion. We were very public with our 2000 goal to penetrate and dominate top-tier financial institutions," says Michon Schenck, president, Financial Fusion. "We obviously will look to leverage our reputation and experience to continue providing the nation's leading online banking providers with the best-in-class solutions."
